The tools that we use, should always be used correctly.
The tools for maintaining and repairing our cars are no
exception. The tools associated in repairing an automobile
and its components will be discussed in this article with
each of their features and uses.

The Hammer, which was used anciently as a weapon, is now a
tool for applying needed repair to any part of an
automobile that doesn't do what it should do. A Utility
Knife is used to open all cardboard boxes and plastic
containers that contain other tools and unneeded, and non
returnable spare parts.

An electric hand drill is used to drill a hole in some
parts of the automobiles for inserting a steel pop rivet in
the hole, or to make holes in the floor of sports car. The
holes are made over the brake line that goes to the back
axle of the car.

A Hacksaw is a useful tool that works on the simple
principles of a Ouija board. It is used to convert all
human effort into a crooked and unpredictable result, in
the attempt to cut any object. Metal Shears are the tool
that works on the exact principle of the Hacksaw and is
used in the cutting of flat metals.

Vise-Grips are used to convert the head of any bolt into a
rounded and unmovable button. They are also used to
effectively transfer intense heat to the user~s palm when
welding. Oxyacetylene torches are the tools best used to
ignite the hidden cigarette in closed garage, without the
knowledge of the spouse, they work in the same theory as
the Zippo lighter. Whitworth Sockets are the tools which
were used times gone bye to repair older British cars and
motorcycles. Now, their main use is to hide Philip Morris
products from the spouse.

The Drill Press is a tall motorized machine useful for
grasping any flat metal bar away from your grip and
smacking the free end into your chest. Tweezers are the
precision device that is used to remove wood splinters.
The Wire Wheel is used to remove fingerprint whorls and
calluses while fixing a car (see Microdermabrasion for
the hands).

The hydrolic floor Jack is a tool which is used to lower a
Mustang to the ground just after you have installed a set
of Ford Motorsports. An eight-foot long Douglas fir 2X4 is
used to push to push a car in an upward direction with a
hydraulic jack. Tweezers are the tools specially used for
the purpose of removing wood splinters. A phone may be a
needed as a special tool for calling your neighbor to bring
another hydraulic floor jack.

A snap-on gasket scraper is used as a sandwich tool for
spreading mayonnaise. A timing light is a useful tool for
illuminating grease buildup on your crankshaft pulleys.
A handy two-ton hydraulic engine hoist is for checking the
tensile power of ground straps and is used to cut the lines
that you may have forgotten to disconnect.

The Battery Electrolyte tester is used mainly to transfer
sulfuric acid from the vehicle battery to the drawer of
your toolbox. A Trouble Light is used to produce a light
that is a good source of vitamin D, in the car, at night.
A Phillips Screwdriver is useful for to easily create
safety screws by rounding any removal ridges,
(see: Vice-Grips).

Even with all the humor, using tools is what seperates us
from most of the animal kingdom. The proper use of the
proper tool will make all things possible. Whether it's
repairing a car, or fixing a washing machine, or building
a space shuttle, Tools, used correctly will keep our
lives rolling.
